Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of new opportunities can you handle?

Our goal is to help your game grow, so we’re open to working through every opportunity that can boost it. They’re including (but, as lawyers say, are not limited to :))

  • porting games to new platforms
  • porting games from the old tech stack to the new one
  • increasing player retention and engagement game with new art & content & other live updates
  • community support & live events & implementing new elements of PR strategy;
  • building and integrating new features & mechanics.
Can you handle my game updates fully?

Yes, we do! We create content for both minor updates and prepare full-cycle releases — integrate new assets and build new features for the next versions of your game.

From which platforms can you port? To which platforms can you port?

We work with all major platforms: web, mobile, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox X/S. We’re very eager to work with other platforms, though, and don’t shy away from porting to custom hardware and new consoles 🙂

What does the porting process look like?

It depends on your game and target platforms. If you’re in the middle of development, we build a process that allows two teams that do porting and engineering to work simultaneously. If the game is completed, and you’ve already locked all features, we build a pipeline that fits your release schedule based on the technical state of the project. Usually, we ran some tests to get the game data like memory usage, FPS, etc. — and then port one game scene. Then, we extrapolate the time spent on the whole project — and that’s your estimation.

Will you need access to our existing codebase?

Yes. We need to figure out what you already have — your game design and technical design documents, source code, and game assets that already exist — to give you an accurate estimate of how long porting will take. Sometimes, if the game is old or was created using an outdated tech stack, we’ll only need to see GDD and existing assets: with them, we would recreate the game from scratch since the actual adapting wouldn’t be possible.

How long does it take to port a game to a new platform?

It depends. Sometimes it takes several weeks, sometimes — a year or two. We are happy to learn about your project and give you a high-level estimate about porting in your specific case.

Can you update game mechanics during porting?

Yes! Each platform has its specifics and quirks within user experience, platform-specific UI like controls, and other technical requirements — Game Designers are there to make sure porting doesn’t disrupt the design, game mechanics, and all that.

Do you have dev kits?

Yes, we do, for all the main platforms. If you want to port to a specific, less known platform include it in your request.
