Enhancement of Existing Games

So, your game is ready — and now the fun begins. Now you need to retain existing players and engage more. For that, you have to constantly analyze what is happening there, track what players want, and react to their wishes. That’s what we help you do. We listen to your players and watch how they play, analyze their feedback and behaviors — and help you create more content, design and implement new features, optimize mechanics, etc. to make their experience more fun and engaging.

Produce more creative content

If you need updates to engage people and boost your starting KPIs in the pre-release stage or right after going live, our team is here to help you build them.

  • After studying your product rigorously, we recreate your production pipeline to enhance product vision
  • Artists adjust their style to yours. Game designers come up with mechanics and other game elements that will enhance your genre and worldbuilding
  • Liveops teams align updates with your schedule and integrate them into your operations seamlessly.
Speed up updates

Let’s imagine your game is live and it’s on fire – so the players are looking forward to the updates right here and right now! Here’s how we can help you do it faster:

  • We prioritize the updates with you
  • A team roster is planned to deliver all the works needed for an update to happen
  • We suggest the right way to run development and art production in parallel based on our knowledge base created after completing 458 projects and agree on the right pipeline
  • Voila! Your updates are released 2-3 times faster!
Optimize your game by using data

Work with a team of remote specialists who’ll seamlessly join your production and contribute to the job as any full-time in-house expert does. Onboard them using the iLogos pipeline for knowledge transfer and they’ll become a full-blown production unit that’s engaged in what you’re doing and excited to improve your game performance in 4-6 weeks.

Don’t worry about misinterpretations, miscommunications, or lack of transparency. Our teams value clarity and understanding and commit to providing them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you mean by live operations?

Live operations are processes that support and maintain the released game and improve its metrics. In iLogos, we divide LiveOps into different services: full-cycle LiveOps that cover the entire game and all processes in it, and specialized LiveOps to support a specific part of the game (art production, engineering, game design, etc.)

Why do I need to outsource live operations?

The companies outsource live operations with several goals in mind:

  • To free up their main team and keep them focused on building new games while the existing ones are managed and updated by a partner
  • To bring the older game back to life and make it exciting for a new audience
  • To gain an alternative viewpoint on the game, look at it from a new angle
  • To accelerate updates and involve more players

We can help you reach any of these targets!

Can you produce outsourced art content for our game updates?

Yes, sure! We did art content production for lots of clients — our teams easily adjust to the way you work and your art style.

Can you release full-cycle updates, or do you cover art only?

We do everything. We can do art- or engineering-based updates only — or we can cover all aspects of the game and maintain and support everything you need. Our teams of full-cycle LiveOps have Producers, Product Owners, Game Designers, and Analysts; all of them work to improve your target metrics.

Which game metrics do you track when you handle live operations?

We mainly track retention: D1, D7, D30, DAU, ARPU, ARPPU, etc. We also track user flow, figure out points where players abandon the game, points where players get stuck, and so on.

Do you have game designers?

Of course — we are a game development company 🙂 They are involved in almost all LiveOps projects. You will work with game designers who have relevant experience within your video game genre (e.g. strategy, RPG, racing, etc.) and are interested in it, so they would find new things to explore and old things to enhance quicker.

Do you have game analysts?

Yes, our analysts work with player data and predict how players’ behavior will change by processing it. Before the LiveOps division starts working on your game, we request your game data for them to figure out where updates, upgrades, and new content are needed the most.

Can I check out your successful game LiveOps cases?

Yes, we were handling the full-cycle LiveOps for these games:

Blades of Brim by Sybo Games (iOS / Android)
Jeopardy! Words by Sony Pictures (iOS / Android)
Ultimate Cribbage by WildCard Games (iOS / Android)
Tribal Wars 2 by InnoGames (iOS / Android)

…and specialized LiveOps for these:
Angry Birds 2 by Rovio (iOS / Android). Curious case: here, we’ve ported the game from mobile to Windows, and now iLogos is handling LiveOps of their Windows version that’s still F2P.
Gardenscapes by Playrix (FB version). That’s a case for development LiveOps — mainly covering engineering of new features; our team worked directly with Playrix’s in-house developers.
Two Dots by Dots (iOS version; Android version). Here, we did development LiveOps as well.
